people are often buying the photos, as much as they are buying the watches. so if you sell watches from time to time, money spent to get the killer photos will come back to you, with the first two or three sales.

$1,300 is expensive compared with the point-and-shoots or entry level D-SRLs; may be justified in the longer term, for folks who will make the effort to get the great photos.
