Good subject!

Well i'm not so sure about the current Silverstone as future classic collectable as its very similar to the vintage, i think the vintage is and will be much more collectable due to these similarities...

The Monacos...(remember 4000-5000 ltd edition isn't really that limited as we think they only made approx 5000 of all vintage Monaco variants)...however if it was me i'd go with the white dial Gulf stripe edition and possibly the original 1990s re-edition CS2110(which was badged Heuer only). Certainly the TH Monacos badged "Heuer" only would make more sense to collect for future appreciation in my opinion...

I would imagine some of the other guys will have some input on Carrera and Autavia re-editions...

I'd be thinking in terms of quite a long time horizon for meaningful appreciation though...so if that is your concern my advice would be to buy vintage (even if price appreciation isn't your concern i;d still buy vintage :-)!)

Cheers
