Re: Size of a Speedy
In Response To: Size of a Speedy ()

You bought the reduced Size :( . A real Speedmaster is Hand-winding and has 42mm !!!

Cheers Andreas

: I have just bought an Omega Speedmaster Automatic as an everyday
: work watch as I couldn't tell the time on my TAG Carrera Chrono.
: I was wondering though, is there a standard size of the
: Speedmaster?

: It's a very handsome watch but it's a bit dinky. It measures 38mm
: across excluding crown, and 40mm including it. I know it's based
: on a watch introduced in the 60's so will probably be a bit
: smaller than more modern watches but next to my Autavia Siffert
: it looks tiny!!

: Anyone else got one they could measure please????

: Thanks

: David H
