A Personal, Aesthetic Choice

it's a matter of personal preference, hardly a rational or analytical matter. to my eye, the proportions between the depth of the case-back, the "mid-section" and the front bezel are much better on the new Silverstone Limited Edition. the case-back on the Limited Edition also has the brushed and polished surfaces, and is held in place by screws at each corner.

by comparison, the case-back and back surface of the vintage Silverstone look more like a "blob", with the proportions between the elements appearing off balance, to my eye. over the years, this same eye has grown less fond of the "top heavy" later Autavias (11630), though I still like the earlier ones (1163). the vintage Silverstone looks "bottom heavy".

I am publishing a review that treats the Limited Edition favorably . . . we will await your rebuttal!!
