Re: Great!
In Response To: Great! ()

Fabrizio,
Thanks, yep they are a great watch.. with regards to the hour sub-reg hand, my observations were based on the catalogue pics - http://www.onthedash.com/Guide/_Catalogs/1985_Chronograph_Catalog/?show=P55.jpg

I presumed from the pics, that the day/date model had a white hand, the day only a red/orange hand. Maybe this isn't a hard n fast rule??

Stewart

: Hey Stewart, fantastic watch and pictures as well. Thanks also for
: the extra shots at the link.
: I happen to own both the day and the day-date versions and love
: both of them: the former was my first proper Heuer and has been
: the one I've worn most ever since. Rugged, reliable, sporty yet
: classy on its own - I love to wear it whenever I am on black
: shoes, either casual or with a suit.
: A winner, wear it in good health!
: Cheers,
: Fabrizio

: PS I don't think the white hand in the hour subdial is correct,
: though this was in Heuer's last days when anything might have
: happened: we have seen white hand on this and orange hand in the
: 510.511 Carrera, when it should have been the other way round...
