In Response To: Watchuwearing Friday.. ()

With the discussion of the chronograph names, and David's setting the black tone for the day, I decided to give this one some wrist time. Should this one have properly been the "Long Beach" or "Indy"?

Being an Alabama boy, I might have voted for the "Talladega" name, to mark the amazing accomplishment of the 917/30, driven there by Mark Donohue, at 221.160 MPH, in August 1975 . . . a great moment for the 917, in its last official outing, and one of Donohue's last achievements. But Talledega was probably not known to the Europeans at that time . . . more of a NASCAR destination.
