Re: Difficult to Date / Size of Production Run?

Jeff, I am legally not allowed to communicate the numbers of the sold watches, however it is very close. The 7733 came from 7730/1 and was pretty widely used in the watchindustry across brands.

: Arno:

: Difficult to date this one with precision; yes, first and only
: appearance is in the 1970 catalog, but this one is based on the
: 7753 movement, right? This movement had limited run, I believe
: -- in the Belgian Congo Carreras (issued in 1970); in the
: standard Carrera 30s (also around 1970, I believe).

: I wonder what the production run of this version of the Skipper
: might have been. My SN is 134 165 . . . is your SN close to this
: or far away?

: My bezel has lost most of its black color, but the shiny silver
: creates a very special look; you see that the patina is
: beautiful / very warm, and vivid colors on the minute counter
: remain vivid / strong.

: Jeff
