Re: One Quick Point to Add re the Dials -- Dots and Dashes

Just to throw a spanner in the works, and to add to the differences.

I have just found a 'non' branded Pasadena which has 'square' markers at the 12, 3, 6, 9 positions!!! It's caseback carries ONLY the '280 SL' reference that is also seen on some 750.501 casebacks - ie: 750.501 280 SL .

The watch is here:
http://www.yorktime.com/search?cid=17:sku=215

I've also noted that the dial edge 'seconds' batons are longer on the 'branded' versions, although the watch linked above breaks that 'rule' too. The branded model also has a heavier Heuer sheild.

: I have not had the time to work through these four messages, but
: want to make a very quick point: The dials also seem to be
: different between the Pasadena and the non-Pasadena (in addition
: to the presence or absence of the "Pasadena").

: Look at the markers at 3-6-9-12. Pasadena has angular markers
: (rectangular), we can call them "dashes" /
: non-Pasadena has smaller dots. I have been checking these, as I
: have spotted them, for the last two weeks, and have not seen any
: exception to this pattern.
