Never one to pass on a friendly challenge. The Silverstone rendition in grey took 2 minutes however the Carrera was a different matter. After about 45 minutes I gave up. It just wasn’t right (morally and aesthetically) but I can say that Heuer got it right by never producing a red dial Carrera or any other watch for that matter other than the Silverstone. I think a red dial is way out there and it takes a very specific case, moment in time and forward thinking to produce such a watch. The Red/Bordeaux Silverstone is an icon in so many ways.
