Hi all, I am new on the forum, but Jeff encouraged me to contribute so here is my first post.
I bought a "beater" 13-1 on ebay a few months back, and now that I have acquired a few other pieces, I am debating whether to sell it or have it refurbished. However, i have been able to find next to nothing out about these watches other than a photo in the 1980 Heuer catalogue. Is there anyone out there with a 13-1 in good shape that could post some photos? If there is anyone interested in buying one as a project (it works fantastically well, but needs some cosmetic TLC) you can contact me for pics. I have come to understand that although these aren't the most desirable Heuers, they are exceedingly scarce.

Also, does anyone have a source for PVD case refinishing in the states? I also have a Monza that needs a thoughtful resto, and although I am considering Nic Green, I just wanted to see if there were other folks that could do the job well domestically for a reasonable price.
