Re: Anyone have good photos of a 13-1??

Well, then you might LOVE mine, because it is pretty badly brassed as well! A Previous Owner actually PAINTED the case black again, and now that paint is chipping off, giving a very unique lived-in look. But the main reason I wanted to see a photo is to see whether the case ever had sharp edges, or whether it was a little more rounded to begin with, as I was thinking of attempting a case resto on my own and then just sending it out to be PVD'd. I used to build model cars professionally, so I figure stripping the paint off and refinishing the brass can't be that hard to do. I would leave the dial and movement alone as they are ok. Like I said before I would also consider selling it to someone looking for a fun beater watch with a lot of character.

: I have a history of liking the brassed effect Stewart, once even

: I vaguely remember having either a plated or lacquered base metal

: Went through a digital phase for a while after that, which was

: so that helps too.
