Jeff,

I had a walk around the Rolex and Tudor stands at Basel. There was not a single Rolex that I would want- I quite like some of the older Rolexes, but the new ones are crassly styled with no new ideas. The new Daytona? Horrible.

Then I walk around Tudor- I liked the Heritage Chrono from last year and this year they have the Heritage Advsior (below), Grandtour and a range of 5-6 watches that I'd love to take home


Maybe I just don't "get" Rolex- but give me a Tudor any day of the week ahead of any modern Rolex.
