Re: I am happy to report
In Response To: I am happy to report ()

Sadly, it was easier for me to learn to maintain my own watches than it was to explain to my watchmaker what I wanted done.

After he told me my Camaro case was a fake because it didn't fit the Val72 properly (spacer ring) I bought books, good tools
and some cheap watches to mess around with and I have never been happier.

If something breaks, I have the part sitting on my desk and 30 min later voila.

Thank goodness my wife loves and understands me enough to ignore the price of a demagnitizer.

Although all the kings horses may not be able to put it back together, I am going to give it a try and will keep everyone in the loop.

Cheers

Rob
