Alot of money for what it is. A little research and any interested parties could have seen the error of bidding too high!
Unless the buyer has an NOS original dial going spare of course however unlikely!

: This Monaco has a completeley made up fake dial rather than just a
: repainted dial. Look closer at the steel batton hour markers ,
: does anything look familiar ? Yes... its the same square waffle
: markers at 2,4,8 & 10 o'clock that we see on the fake dialed
: 73633 Monaco's. A sure sign on any Monaco dial that not all is
: as it should be. The list of errors on the dial goes on and on ,
: check out the registers in close up to see all the short cuts
: the dial painter used.
: A truely sad day to see this some of parts, valued at somewhere
: near half of the selling price, fool an innocent and uninformed
: buyer. Hopefully the buyer will discover this forum & see
: his error sometime in the next few days before sending his hard
: earned money off to the seller.
: Good luck - Darren
