Philippe, who has the ExoticWatches.net website and is "friendly-buyer" on eBay is a good guy, and he has a genuine enthusiasm for the Heuers. I imagine that this was a typo, made in the rush to complete the listing.

In terms of the opening price seeming high, I check the Heuers on ExoticWatches.net on a regular basis, and can report that while Philippe has some "optimism" in his prices, he does keep the inventory moving (whereas some dealers seem to hold their high-priced watches for months and even years). Philippe knows the watches (and is learning more about the Heuers), and he knows his customers, so I expect that if he is high of the mark, then it is not by much.
