Being one of the current eBay gripers, and also having had the pleasure of dealing with David (and a 24 MT to show for it!), the contrast could not be more plain.

Stewart, your post almost makes me rethink my current issue with the rally master that is going through eBay dispute at the moment. While I'm really not in the position of having to pay for an unanticipated restoration. I feel reluctant to send the timers back to someone who clearly has no interest in them beyond money, and would rather see them properly restored and preserved within this community. You've made me feel a certain obligation to save them from ruin.

It really is clear how different the approach is with a person who cares about our beloved watches and timers and those who only handle them for a quick buck.
