Background colour differences..

Lets see if this works..

Jeff's right - sometimes I have photoshopped the background colour to a different shade, and it makes a huge difference. Red is particularly difficult to get right. I often take a little red out of any photo I take, as indoor lights give that warm glow, which is unwanted sometimes.

Also, I never forget this phrase that I read somewhere - "make your watch smile - set it to 10 past 10" :0)

I hope you don't mind Lanny, but I took one of your images & quickly photoshopped it to illustrate the huge difference it can make. Obviously these are heavily edited, but the watch itself is not altered, (apart from removing some red reflections etc)..
Even just a basic 'sharpen' and 'reduce red' (cooler filter) etc can work wonders - look how lovely the GF looks without the red reflections all over it. You can still see some red reflecting off the case, but this was just a quick job to illustrate how ambient colour can make a massive difference.

Cheers
Stewart
