You need to see the new cars on track

: I don't know if it was the drivers or the cars but it's amazing how
: aggressive the drivers/cars used to take those turns (I mean
: they just took those machines just about anywhere on IMS). We
: rarely see that these days...

The new gen Indy car allows for a lot more movement and passing. You can really see the different driving styles working in this new car. I know I am a homer but I went to my first Indy 500 in the late '60s and I think these new cars are the best. When You watch 3 different drivers like Ryan-Hunter Reay who is strong and forceful, Takuma Sato who is aggressive but smooth and Simon Pagenaud who seems sort of effortlessly smooth and see that they can all run up front in this car you know things are good.

Watch the street race from Brazil this weekend and watch the Indy 500 in May and maybe you will be hooked again. The racing is really really good.
