Not to Beat a Dead Horse, but . . . Photoshop in Catalog?

Not to beat a dead horse, but the folks over on the Replica Watch Info forum have taken a closer look at the catalog photo used by Antiquorum in the September 2011 sale of the Autavia, Ref 3646, that we have been discussing. Seems to have been a bit of sloppy Photoshop work on this photo.

Here is the Replica Watch Info posting -- http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/dash-catches-antiquorum-159398.html

Here is our thread -- http://chronocentric.com/forums/heuer/index.cgi?page=1;md=read;id=64569

Here is the image in the Antiquorum auction catalog (September 2011) --

And here is the detailed look at the image, from Replica Watch Info. Yes, there seems to be some cloning / over-spray on the bezel.

Here is another photo of the watch, from September 2011, which was sent to me by Antiquorum --

Thanks to the folks over at Replica Watch Info for the close-up look at the catalog image.

We can assume that whoever purchased the watch at this September 2011 auction will have no hard feelings, if this same watch actually did sell for $20,000 (hammer price) last week.
