In Response To: Spotting Fakes... ()

Try typing the word chronoaddict into the forum search bar and you will find a vast library of complaints about him. Frankens & fakes are common comments. I have in the past seen movement bridges on his watches that look to be shaved down and then either re-engraved or laser etched to read the more desirable Ed.Heuer & Co. Often if you compare the bridge to a known honest examples you can see the differences.
I have read stories of re-dials & even chromed cases in place where it should only be stainless steel. Its highly improbable that a seller has had this many frankens in his collection & unknowingly sold them on to unsuspecting buyers.

I'm on my phone so difficult to study the pictures in detail but if i were you i would contact one or two of the Carrera champions to check these watches before sending funds.

Good luck, i fear you will need it !
