Re: Heuers in Bonhams London sale tomorrow

Yes-very well done Andrew-a great pick up for sure, on a rare piece. Sounds like one you've been after for some time?

I didn't watch the auction but agree with jas, some surprising non-sellers it seems!

Looking like some mixed results from across the pond too....still time to go though....

Best,
Steve

: I think you were right, the attention of the Heuer buyers was
: elsewhere.

: The 3647S (Lot 18) and 3147N (Lot 19) look like good value at
: £3,500 and £5,625 respectively, including buyer's premium. I'm
: sure there were others too.

: I bought the Mareographe at £8,125 including premium. I'm unsure
: about value because condition was such a big factor with this
: one. However, if there's one watch where I can accept water
: damage to the dial, it's a Mareographe and I shall wear it often
: and enjoy it.
