I agree.
I would have thought that reputation is absolutely everything in his business.
We are willing to part with significant sums of money for these parts because we know how difficult they are to obtain. It is often impossible, or at least extremely difficult, to determine whether the parts that are for sale are exactly as described and therefore it is necessary to rely on the reputation of the seller.
I bought some parts from this seller that I have yet to have my watchmaker fit and I am now a little anxious.
If this was not resolved, at least to the partial satisfaction of the buyer, then I would hesitate before buying anything from this seller again.
