I totally agree with this analysis, John.
The best I have seen or heard to be honest.
In 2015 I sold 3 Autavia 2446 "Jochen Rindt" for around €4k each.
Then prices went up to €35k ( and even more for some exceptional pieces ).
And now that prices are down to €20k people start panicking and telling that the Heuer market is in big trouble.
I find this a very healthy correction ( the same we often see in the stock market ).
At least it's making it possible again to buy a nice 60's Autavia for a reasonable price.
So let's keep on correcting. I like it. :-)
And most important, let's talk less about money and more about watches.
I would like to see some interesting discussions here like there used to be in the past when I started collecting Heuer.
