Re: Motorcycle Vibrations...OK?
In Response To: Motorcycle Vibrations...OK? ()

: Does anyone know if riding a motorcycle would
: be harmful to a SeaMaster Pro Chronometer
: (2254.50.00). Im concerned about the effect
: of vibration on the movement, and possibly
: premature wear. It's a pretty
: "buzzy" motorcycle so Im speaking
: mostly of high frequency vibrations...
: buzzes.

I ride my motorcycle everyday as transport and have never had a problem with either of my Omega's (Bond SMP & PO)from riding, or anything else for that matter. My SMP runs consistantly at two seconds per day. The PO took a little while to settle in, but it too now runs at plus two. Don't worry about the buzzing, I'm more worried about a rock flying up from the road, so I usually keep the watch covered with a glove or jacket.
