Only 1 in 49 years
In Response To: Motorcycle Vibrations...OK? ()

I have been riding for 49 years on 18 different bikes with 1 to 4 cylinders. I have worn at least two dozen mechanical wrist pieces while riding over this period. Only one watch was affected by the vibration and that was an old Soviet (CCCP) Pobeda 15 jewel watch. It would gain around 3 minutes an hour on the bike.

I would not wear anything of much value as a mishap can do a lot of damage not only to your head but to watches also. So wear a modest watch and a good helmet is my advice.

And always remember - There are old bikers and there are bold bikers. But there are no old bold bikers
