I hadn't heard of the Old Watch Shop, but they have a nice website and some good-looking Omegas. It still worries me that you have that noise - which may have come after they serviced the watch, of course.
I don't know Chris Heal, but I've heard other people sing his praises. I always use STS as I find them reliable. There's a local watchmaker here I use when I don't want to spend too much.
I seem to remember being a lawyer a long time ago, but luckily I have forgotten all about that. I live in the south of England, but my ancestors used to live in the middle of the Highlands, all round Loch Rannoch, and I wear a kilt from time to time!
