Watchwinders and Restoration...

Hi..

Currently I have 2 Omegas, a Seamaster Omegamatic and a 752 Cal Seamaster from the early 70's I got from ebay a while back.

So I am looking for 2 lots of advice for these watches :)

1. I do wear both regularly but of course I end up with one usually being wound down and so I have been looking at watchwinders (single watch). For what should be a relatively simple product the prices range from the cheap (and quite nasty) to opulent (and majorly expensive)
So being in the UK my choices seem quite limited for the money I want to pay (about £100 or so) I have found the following :

MTE

Rapport (Loads on ebay but only a couple at about £100 - The uno or some of the single wooden cased ones)

http://www.rapportinternational.com/windersSingle.html

and lastly a US made model the Orbita Bellino which over here seems to only be carried by blitzwatches....

(though the picture above seems to show the plastic cheaper model not the leather one)

So I really want is one which works reliably and is as quiet as poss.. any opinions ?

My second question is with regards to my 70's Seamaster. Its a lovely watch but it could do with a service and a little bit of restoration (hands need replacing, face needs cleaning, new glass and a few scratches on the case). Is Swiss time services the place in the UK to send it or should I be looking at sending it back to Bienne ?
Assuming theres no major under the bonnet work needed does anyone have any idea what sort of price I am looking at ?

Thanks

Matt
