In Response To: Re: Restoration... ()

Hi Matt

I'm having this one fixed

It has an f300 movement in it. A lot of watchmakers won't touch an f300 movement, since they are so fiddly & sensitive, but Richard has no problem doing them. The movement itself just stopped oneday. the watch "hums" as it should do, the date changes as expected & you can set the date & time via the crown, so I expect it just needs an clean up & fresh oil.

The watch is just having a movement overhaul, new crystal & a couple of links added. ( it's a bit tight on my wrist ). I'm more than happy with the case condition & , for this watch, want to leave it in its original condition.

I'll certainly post my thoughts when I get it back.

All the Best

Steve
