Rolex service was that amazing and catered to every whim of the customer then I might give them the pass, but I myself have expereinced personally what I consider horrible service from them, and have read on countless other occasions stories of woe from owners and their service dilemmas with Rolex...

If the service was consistently awesome, and if they really went out of their way to appease even the most difficult customers then the price might be worth it to me...but this just isn't the case...heck I read how Rolex even blacklisted one guy from using their service because they chose to fix some of his watches bought second hand for no cost as they were near new...I am sorry but if I own a company and we either decide or screw up and opt to fix something free then there is no way I am going to blame the customer...but Rolex doesn't care, because they don't have to.
