I have a friend who never has his Rolex watches serviced. He just buys himself a new one every 4 - 5 years. His company has an "official" annual turnover of US$150.000.000.

"Also I find that most Rolex owners balk at the cost of service, they would rather live with a watch that keeps poor time than pay the $400+ for a repair, most don't care about the time anyway so long as it says Rolex on the dial and they can brag it was expensive."
