It is my understanding that the Polprof left the factory with the crown at 9. Many have chosen to switch it around, as the case of your watch.
This caused a problem with the date wheel not aligning correctly with the date window. Due to this another date wheel was made available that aligned correctly. The AQ listing is for an inverse Polprof - i.e. the rotated version with the crown at 3. One could speculate that Omega recognizes the inverse version as a legitimate adaptation, as it made available the replacement date wheel?
