Hi Erik!

If the watch has it's certificate stamped at the date of purchase, Omega will honour any warranty on it for 2 years after the purchase date. As for the red dot, mine wore off my Seamaster months ago! I don't see Omega refusing to service it if there are any problems. The red dot is a cosmetic measure merely to let the retailer know that noone has tampered with it between the factory and their shop.
If it's working well enough, I'd forget about it, slap it back on my wrist and soak up those admiring glances!
