Great spotting, Steve.
I will do a more detailed posting when time permits, but if a picture is worth a thousand words, then how about this one . . . which I believe is what this watch looked like, when we first began tracking it, a few years ago . . .

: Hello Heuer friends-old and new!
: I thought this was worth pointing at-interesting to see this
: Chronomatic 1153N resurfacing and up for auction again.
:
: Last time it came up was in June 2021 and went unsold, possibly due
: to the chequered history, possibly just market conditions.
: There's more info on the full thread here

: So what do we think-will the market support this price currently,
: given it's known 'provenance' or is it a bargain to be snapped
: up?
: I do like the write-up that goes with the listing! Sure it's
: flowery (possibly due to translation) and we can pick holes in
: the errors until the cows come home; but still refreshing to get
: different perspective on it!
: Best, Steve
