 If people are interested, I can post the list of the watches he sold and the prices they fetched. Looking at David's photos, I am wondering whether he might have kept the Gevrils and Alphas!!

I seem to recall that Clapton sold off around 30 or 40 watches in the Christies auction. I understood that this was less than one-third of his collection, and that he kept most of "the good stuff".
