I have to agree, that 5970 may just be as good as it gets. I've held one "in the metal" in rose gold and it is beyond belief. I would like someday to see a 5970 in white gold since I've been told it's possibly even more spectacular.
Personally my one watch to answer the question would probably be a WG Rolex Daytona with Meteorite dial on WG bracelet. That one is one my very short list.
