a couple of weeks we were having the "what got you started discussion". well, doing some cleaning today, I came across some photos of my very first Heuer chrono . . . this was in the era before I had a digital camera, so here is a scan of an awful (film) photo of the watch.

when I bought this one, I never expected to become a "collector". I sold it after I began to collect others, and it wasn't getting much wrist time. might have been fun to have kept it.
