some months ago (March 2007), we saw an original Chronomatic "Siffert", sold by the original owner, in the original box, with the original receipt (August 1969) . . . just over $7,600, on German ebay. I believe that the bracelet was not original, but everything else seemed to be exactly as it came from the factory.
