Thank you guys for all your usefull tips!! I visited some nice hot-spots. Bond Street, Oxford Street, Burlington Arcade....we were only there for one day.
I hadn't been in the centre of London for ten years or so.
Burlington Arcade is really unbelievable. Some very nice vintage watches...nice Omega store(the which Chuck spoke of)but me as a goldsmith...really unbelievable. All that jewellery, diamonds, precious-stones, gold.... And at what prices?? I often questioned myself which sort of people would spend so much ££££.
I do know the prices concerning jewellery in Burlington Arcade are all 30% over the "normal and honest retailprice". I guess it's thesame with the watches over there!
Really worth visiting!
The reason of my short visit to London will be posted later this week...ofcourse watches were involved :-)
Thanks again,
Abel.
