so if you bought a few of the "Viceroy" Autavias (in 1972), at $80 each, or even the regular Autavias at $200 each; put them away for 31 years; and sold them on ebay at $1790 apiece (in 2003), would that be better or worse than investing in

  • the stock market??
  • gold??
  • real estate??
But in 1972, I was too young to buy the Viceroy cigarettes (to get the coupons for the watch) and had not even heard of "Heuers".

Oh, well.
