I have been trying to find a band as well. I have a 1989 1000 Series with a red face and red bezel in excellent shape and have been using a velco band. I believe it is 18MM. I have never seen another one like this, I bought it in the Bahamas back in 1989. The jeweler I use to replace the batterie said the ones with the red face and bezel were not sold in the U.S.
