Since it was installed on an emergency basis, I will have to admit that I am not fully familiar with the features of our upgraded forum software. The good news is that with the July 4th weekend approaching, I should have time to explore the software and post messages describing the new features.

In the meanwhile, I hope that our readers will post messages, with either their questions or observations about how new features are working.

The first thing I notice is that the "quicksearch" is indeed quick, and seems to search the entire forum, both newer messages and the old ones. I believe that the older time-limited searches may also be run, through the "Search" function [rather than the "Quicksearch".
