Questions about tag heuer quartz

Hi everybody. I was searching on the web and in one forum in TZ i read that the quartz movements have a limited life (the guy said about 10 years but i have watches with more than that). I have two watches, one F1, one 1500 and my brother has one F1; they are all about 10 to 15 years old. That post made me worried. Does anybody know how long is the life of a quartz movement. Should i worry about my 15 year old watches? What fails, the oscillator? I doubt that if a movement fails you can get a spare one or parts, unless there is some NOS over someplace. Thanks everybody in advance, and big shout to Chuck M.
