Re: Omega vs Luminox
In Response To: Re: Omega vs Luminox ()

: A Timex for 49.95 will tell time better than a
: $2K USD Omega (at least for a while).

And if it stops to, get a new one. I hardly think anyone can wear off as many Timexes in his whole life that an Omega would be the more economic watch to go for. ;-)

: I wear a $1750 'Bond' SMP auto. I don't wear it
: because it's related to a James Bond image
: or because it makes me feel macho...

On the way to my clients (banks) I frequently have to walk through Frankfurt's red light district. I guess the neighbourhood can't get much worse, especially in an overall friendly country like Germany. For some exercise in feeling macho, come over here and we'll take a walk there, openly wearing our Seamasters. ;-)

On the other hand, maybe the ones in the know would just think we're pimps or something. :-D

Take care,

-hacmac
