Re: Omega vs Luminox
In Response To: Omega vs Luminox ()

I had a few Luminoxes before my Omega SMP. The first one was the diver's in stailess steel. Good watch, then I got rid of it. Then I picked up a cheaper standard black seal model. That one died when I had a head on collision and my fist went through the dashboard. I was walking home when I realized it wasn't there. I went back to the wrecked rental car and found it inside the instrument cluster all broken up. I left it there since it was not an expensive watch. After that I grabbed another one and used it for a couple of years until the band broke. I still have it but after picking up an SMP, I won't go back. I really love the Omega and I find it keeps perfect time at less than 2 second gain/loss a day. My first Omega, a SMP America's Cup I guess was not regulated as well as it had a 3-4 second gain/loss. I love Omegas. The only other watches I want at this is a Speedmaster, Sea Dweller and the re-released Doxa.
