Thank you for the reply; another wonder of the www and OTD! As Jeff inquired, perhaps you might know of the origin of the dial lettering. (?) The presence of the initials were not my reason for making the purchase/trade, but I am intrigued by them and would be pleased to learn of their origin/meaning. I naturally think of possibilities in the english language, but that leaves out (at least) a few dozen other languages. Perhaps this is "the needle in a haystack", but the slim chance of an answer is a better prospect than none. It's nice to now know of at least one of the wrists which the old girl has adorned.
