Re: I Had the Same Thoughts, After Reading the EBay Listing

: Dear Jeff,Mark, and Forum members,
First of all please accept my humble apology if i did offended ( not intentionally ) .
This was my 2nd post in this forum. First post was for a Heuer Shauntavia model...which ive listed on ebay and many mails came regarding the watch was fake. One fellow member sent me the link for the watch discussed in this forum. I did posted my listing # with info request as i never want to deal in fakes. It was a very nice welcome by Jeff and other mebers a watch was proved authentic.
Sure i bought this watch rencently , I admit that i am not experts in Heuer watches so i came for help in this forum. And i am deeply thankful to Jeff and Mark for their help...and research....time and great knowledge.
Now i can donate 25% of the final value to this forum if Forum owner accept that...i can, or should i post a thanks in my auction for valuable info from this forum members. Are Ebay sellers are not allowed in this forum to ask any question ?
Different watches comes and different discussions goes on. I didnt mean to advertise the ad in this forum...i did humbly asked info help..if i say i am an ebay seller and then ask for a watch info then it can be an ad in the forum which is offense. I did it very casually like if you are not sure for the watch you can go to the experts help . Same as Ebay items comes to discuss in this forum. I am again sorry for the feeling hurt by my any mistake...accept my apology...you guys will not see me again here.
thanks to all specially Jeff and Mark for their time and help ( which i wish can pay in anyway)
regards
Mac

: shall we start a fund to receive donations? we do the research
: and help with the ebay descriptions; seller pays us a
: percentage of the final sales amount or perhaps we charge hourly
: rates; we buy beer, web hosting, technical support, polo shirts
: or golf hats with the proceeds purchaser can introduce himself
: to the community, and we all thank him for the healthy bid.
: when I saw it listed on ebay , I wanted to go back and read the
: whole series of queries and responses, including the nice
: "thanks" extended by the owner, but then I decided
: that there are probably better things to do with my time than
: stew over such things. So I'll just say, "Good luck"
: in attracting $3,000 for this one!!

: And thanks to the guys here, who do the research and post the
: messages, for the good of our fine little community. We'll
: continue to pay for our own beer, web hosting, technical
: support, etc., and be happy with our integrity and independence.

: Jeff
