Mismatched Movement & Dial; Spots on Dial; Sold at $3,170

Siffert with mismatched movement (Cal 11) and dial (later version); spots on the dial; luminous turned black . . . sold for $3,170 . . . Price Guide suggests price between $3,500 and $4,500 for a Siffert in the following condition:
"excellent or near mint; not New Old Stock (NOS) or mint, but a very fine example; dial must be flawless (or near flawless, for some older models); some light wear to the case is acceptable; all parts must be original to the watch itself, except for the crystal."

If anything, the price range should probably be moved up; certainly not down.
