Welcome aboard!!

This one is a beauty . . . looks like a really nice sample, in amazing condition.

I have been tempted to (A) try another Cal 11 / 12 / 15 Carrera, after a few years without one, and (B) try a Heuer Cal 15, for the very first time. Your Carrera hits both these requirements, with great color and condition.

Enjoy this one and we hope that you will be active in our community.

So which Monaco got you started with the Heuers?

: Hi All -

: Well after a month or so of reading the boards and
: "deciding" on one vintage Heuer after another, I
: finally landed on one:

:

: I really wanted an orange and blue combination and love the styling
: of this and the dial color. I came to Heuer the way most people
: did (Monaco) but this is really more my style and I'm quite
: happy with it.

: The bracelet has to go - it's some sort of third party
: "Expando" and the springbars are worn out. For the
: time being I've put a cheap rally band on it but I'm curious as
: to people's opinions on what to go for. I like Squinky's Corfam
: bands but wonder if the blue will match. Also, I'd prefer a
: deployment clasp over a buckle, but is that period correct? What
: band would have come with this model when bought new?

: Also, the band I bought today is 20mm, and seems to fit perfectly.
: Does that match up with what you'd expect?

: Thanks in advance for any advice and I'm really happy to be part of
: the vintage Heuer crowd.

: -Alex
