Jeff thank you for your response. If the timers were sold in a pair would they each have there individual back plate, a one piece larger back plate to fit 2 or 3 on and are the numbers on the back plates unique to each one produced like a serial number or is it a common number found on multiple back plates you have seen.

: For most of the models of the dashboard timers, the serial
: numbers are on the cases, just above eleven o'clock (55 minutes)

: sometimes doubles (rectangular); there were even back-plates for
: three or four of the timepieces (but these must have been
: special order pieces). The numbers on the back of the
