Your quite right, the small chrono hands have masked the dial, so when moved the blue is still evident.
When the watch came to me the hands where damaged so i replaced them and the inner bezel was also damaged and had uneven fade so i replaced it with a better one for a overall even look.
Its very wearable and looks like a cross between the smoke and blue.....pretty cool!
